Hold the Ketchup
The kids love when I make hot dogs as their snack for school, which I often do on Mondays.

Mondays are always the laziest days to begin a week after sleeping in during the weekend.  I am tempted to get under the covers for just a few more minutes.  Recently I turned off the alarm and did just that.

Suddenly it was my older son who woke me up – usually it is vise versa!  Having hastily jumped out of bed I rushed down to prepare their hot dogs as usual.

I made their meal hurriedly, still in quite a drowsy mood and opened the refrigerator to make the juice when I found the bottle missing.

It was only then that I realized to my dismay that I had mistaken the bottle of juice for ketchup and had poured it all over the hot dogs!

The kids had a choice of eating from the cafeteria that day or trying a great new invention by their drowsy mother.

They opted for the cafeteria!
